Description
1/200 Zvezda Kruzenshtern Russian 4 mast sailing ship. A barque is a three or more masted, square rigged vessel. The Kruzenshtern was built in 1926 in German and handed over to Russia as a part of war reparations. this model came from Russia as a gift to me from my friend in Moscow. The kit has 475 parts and will finish at 2 feet long. The sails are injected unlike the vacu-form affairs of some ship kits in past. All parts are accounted for and protected in plastic. The box is like a briefcase with a plastic handhold and much the same size. There is room for more models in the box or it can be cut down to address shipping cost concern.
