Description
This Nieuport model shows 1/50 on the box. Scalemates timeline shows this as a 1/4 scale Aurora model from 1958 and then reboxed in Italy in the 1970’s. The model has the Indian Head motif used by Lafayette Escadrille in WW1 molded onto the fuselage and roundels molded on the wings. The wheels are missing but the rest of the parts are accounted for, some off the sprues and all molded in a dull mid green. There is no windscreen shown in the instructions and no rigging shown. The instructions are mostly in Italian but mention The Battle of Caporetto in English with the paint scheme. The decals are likely useless but they sure are bright. The box is intact but has tape on the sides and a paint spot on the front.
